The Manning Agency Unit is responsible for coordinating and managing all activities of searching job opportunities for seafarers for Tanzanians and onboard training for DMI Students. The manning agency assist ship owners and managers by providing labour supply of seafarer with different professionals with different levels and ranks according to the requirements to perform various deck and Engine Room activities. Seafarer must have specific skills and knowledge in their field to deal with sophisticated navigational equipment used on deck operation, propulsion and in ship’s engine room.
