Admission Requirements
A Holder of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations with two principal passes in the following subjects Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Geography with an aggregate of 4.0 points or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
A Holder of an Ordinary Diploma in Maritime Transport, or Ordinary Diploma in Maritime transport and Nautical Science or Ordinary Diploma in Fisheries Science and Technology or Ordinary Diploma in Master Fisherman with at least a GPA of 3.0 from a recognized Institution.
Duration of the Course:
The duration of the course is four (4) academic years.
2. Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering Technology.
Admission Requirements
A Holder of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations with two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from Advanced Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects or; Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Holder of an Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Marine Engineering with at least a GPA of 3.0. A candidate from this category will join the programme in the second year; or
A Holder of Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Mechanical and Marine Engineering, or Ordinary Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Ordinary Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least a GPA of 3.0

OR
Ordinary Diploma in Marine Engineering. with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA

3. Bachelor Degree in Shipping and Logistics Management.
Admission Requirements
A holder of Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Ordinary Diploma in: Shipping and Logistics Management, Logistics and Transport, Maritime Transport, Fisheries Science and Technology, Master Fisherman, Marine Engineering, Procurement and Logistics, Freight Clearing and Forwarding, Shipping and Port Management, Transport Management, Project Planning and Management, Customs and Taxi Management, Information Technology/Computer science with at least a GPA of 3.0;
OR
A Holder of Diploma in Education with an average grade of B+ in Mathematics, or Physics/Engineering Science, or Chemistry, or Economics, or Geography, or Commerce;

4. Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering.

Ordinary Diploma in either Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil engineering, Shipbuilding, Oil and Gas (Petroleum) Engineering, Mechanical and Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0

Admission Requirements

Holder of an Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in either in Mechanical and Marine Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture and offshore Engineering Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with at least a GPA of 3.0 from a recognized institution. All candidates will join the programme in the first year.

8. Bachelor Degree in Oil and Gas Engineering.
Admission Requirements
A Holder of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations with two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from the following subjects; Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Geography and Chemistry;

Holder of an Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in either Oil and Gas Engineering, Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Petroleum Geosciences and Exploration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering with at least a GPA of 3.0 from a recognized institution.
